At Kayaking Sydney, there is no such thing as a silly question so don’t be afraid to ask. This list will be growing so, if you don’t find what you need to know below, then please contact us.

What should I bring on the kayaking tour?

– Comfortable clothing (that can get wet)
– Sunscreen and sunglasses
– Water shoes or sandals
– A hat for sun protection
– A waterproof bag for valuables (optional)
– A towel (for after the tour)
– Personal water bottle (optional)
– A positive attitude and sense of adventure!

Do I need prior kayaking experience?

– No, our tours are suitable for all skill levels, from beginners to experienced kayakers. Our Qualified guides will provide an introduction and basic paddling instruction before the tour begins

What kind of kayaks do you provide?

– We offer a variety of kayaks, including single and tandem kayaks. Top of the range from WILDERNESS this offers the best, safest and most comfortable kayaking for your Kayaking Sydney experience.

What's included on the tour?

All equipment including either the single kayak or tandem kayak, paddle and life-jacket (available in various sizes) fitted to you.

Qualified, experienced and friendly guides/instructors.

Full safety briefing and kayak instruction prior to departure.

What happens if weather hits?

While we can’t predict the weather, however your safety is the priority. We reserve the right to cancel the session on the spot if we decided it is unsafe to go ahead.

If it’s forecasted too windy or rainy, we will offer you an alternative day to reschedule. If we feel we need to cancel due to the weather, we will notify you by the afternoon prior to the proposed dates, usually by around 5pm.

    Our Sydney Harbour Tours Depart & Return To:

    Blues Point Reserve, (End of Blues Point Road) McMahons Point 2060, Australia
    Please use Blues Point Road, McMahons Point as your drop-off. We launch from next to the car park, there is usually 4 hours free street parking available around the Blues Point Reserve. There are public toilets nearby as well.
